2 Years ago yesterday my sister dropped me off at the airport with my 2 suitcases in hand and fighting back the tears knowing that I was leaving my family, friends, the mountains, and comforts behind as I started a new journey in my life.
Yep that's right I have been here for 2 years now! Can you believe it! Nate left 10 days before me, to start his job and get us moved in. He was so nice to let me see my little brother off on his mission and let me fly instead of drive the 30 hours in a Penske pulling a car behind him.
It didn't take long to feel comfortable in Kentucky, the day I arrived I was welcomed with open arms by so many friends that I will never forget!
Here are just a few Highlights from the last 2 years: (sorry we just got a new computer so I can not find all my pictures I will have to post them later)
*Huber farms in Indiana : picking pumpkins in the fall, eating at their restaurant, picking raspberries 9 months pregnant in humidity!
*Cafe' Rio Nights: Louisville doesn't have Cafe Rio so we have to make our own (personally I enjoy that so much more)
*"Harris Howl": the annual Halloween party, I am not sure what we are going to do this year, they graduated.
*Louisville Zoo: I have only taken Cooper a few time, he seems to like it, and I am sure he will like it better when hes older
*Mammoth Caves: so much fun to take visitors there and go with friends
*Spring breaks: Gatlinberg, Tennessee and Gulf Shores, Alabama sooo much fun!
*Trip to Nashville, Tennessee : Nate served his mission there so it was fun to see the area
*Girls nights to Cheddars: loaded cheese Fry's (need I say more?)

I am so glad you are her and I got to know and glad you are her for 3 more years!!!
Sarah that is awesome for you to do because the memories do fade. It's good to have them written down even if it's a brief one line synopsis. When you add the pictures it will be so cool for you to have. Karlene
