Hiking into Devils Gulch

This past Monday and Tuesday Nate had fall break, and we couldn't have asked for better weather (75-80 degrees)! We decided to take a trip down to Red River Gorge, which is in Daniel Boone National Forest, about 60 miles past Lexington. We went hiking around on a trail to natural bridge which was beautiful!! Nate had been here once before with his scouts, but this was my first time. We enjoyed the day with lunch, hiking all around the forest and just spending time outside enjoying this beautiful weather and fall colors. We were a little picture happy so I hope you enjoy!
On Tuesday it was another gorgeous day so we started off with Coopers swimming lessons, voted of course, then the fun began. We went on a nice long bike ride to our favorite park Cherokee, then we parked our bikes at home and went for a nice run and finished it off with a picnic in a different park with friends.
It was so nice having Nate home for those 2 days, I just wish it were always like that!(don't we all right?) Thanks for the fun!

Fall is my favorite time of year too. We don't have any pretty leaves at home right now because it froze to early so fall is kind of sad this year :( You ran the Zeitgeist a COUPLE of times you say, you're the woman and yes mile 8 was not even a funny choke and kicked my hiney but I made it through. You should make plans to run it with me next year ; )
That looks beautiful. Cooper couldn't be any cuter! I can't wait to see you guys in Dec. Especially Cooper!! Sorry, but it's true.
