One Year older and wiser too.

I celebrated my birthday this past weekend, unfortunately I have no pictures to prove it, but I completely enjoyed every minute of it!
Saturday morning, Nate woke up with Cooper and went down stairs to make me breakfast, while I got to sleep in an hour later than usual. After breakfast, Nate surprised me with my first sewing machine. (I already have a few projects in mind.) We got ready for the day and instead of going to Cincinnati (bad weather), Nate took me shopping around town, then out to a delish dinner. I had so much fun just being with my boys the whole day. Nate is right in the middle of finals and he took the whole day off to be with me, I couldn't have asked for anything more!

On Sunday we had our friends over for cake and ice cream, then Monday my girlfriends took me out to lunch (since it being finals and all, we couldn't really do it when the husbands could watch the kids so they all went with us. I wish I would have taken pictures of this, there were ten adults and ten children all at one table, at a sit down restaurant. Yeah it was great, the kids did very well and we were able to chat and enjoy each others company. Thanks girls for the fun.
