Cooper Man

There is never a dull moment with this kid around. There are so many stories and so many things he says that I wish I could play a recorder all day long just so I will never forget them.

Right now Cooper is really into animals and all their creature powers (any Wild Kratt fans out there?) He loves telling me about the different animals and what they can do, he could tell you everything about Octopuses and what they can do and what they eat. He even makes up animals and descibes their powers to me, taking different animals powers and putting them into this made up animal. The Krada for example has arms that grow back like an Octopus, has scaly skin like an alligator, lays eggs and is a mamal like a platyapus. Seriously I hear stories about the Krada all day long.

He is also really into Australia and the amazing animals that live there. The other day he said,
"mom when I turn 21 I am moving to Australia."
Me: "Why are you moving to Australia?"
Coop: "There are so many animals to see that I have to move there"
Me: "Can I come visit you, I will be so sad when you move."
Coop: (in a very cool voice) No mom it's way too far away for you, besides Hank will always be here, hes NEVER moving out."
And that was that, he cracks me up.

When Grandma was here she gave Coop and Hank pumpkin suckers. After telling Cooper the suckers were from Grandma, we over heard Grandma asking Hank what was on his sucker (just trying to get Hank to talk) Cooper turns to me and whispers "these suckers arent from Grandma, she didnt even know what they were".
Seriously this kid is too smart for his own good.

One morning while Grandma was in the shower, Cooper came in and told her the shower was too loud and she woke him up. Grandma appologized, but continued on with her shower. A few minutes later right in the middle of washing, Grandmas water turned off, she looked up to find Cooper turning off her shower and running back to bed.

We all had a good laugh about that story, like a said there is never a dull moment here. I Love this kids so much, there are highs and lows with each stage in childhood, but I think I really love the 4 years old stage.

we only have 24+ wild kratt episodes recorded! My boys are crazy about it! Tanner and cooper could have some great conversations about animals!
