FALL FESTIVITIES

We started off this weekend by packing our car with camp chairs and hot dogs and going up to another farm in Indiana known as Montgomery farms with a bunch of friends. This has been a tradition that we joined in on over the past 2 years. It has a big fire pit where we roasted hot dogs and smores, a large barn and kid toys that they enjoyed playing on, a big corn maze and haunted hay ride (which this year we did not participate in). The night before we had a bad storm and a tornado warning, it had rained like crazy that night. When we got up to the farm on friday we had a hard time starting the fire and it was rather cold. It didn't take long before the fire was going and we got food in our stomach. I was just happy I had packed warm things for Cooper, once he got comfortable in my baby carier he was content the rest of the night and it ended up being nice and warm and we had a very enjoyable evening.
Sunday night we got together and carved pumpkins with some friends while Cooper sported his festive pumpkin hat, which he has already grown out of.(What a big boy!) Nates pumpkin is the pirate which turned out pretty good considering he started carving it at dusk and the outside lights were burnt out. I love this time of year when the leaves change colors and the weather cools down. I hope all of you are enjoying it also.
