Who ever said you needed to celebrate your birthday on just the day of your birthday. If you ask me I think you should celebrate your birthday week. My birthday week started on Wednesday, which is the day of my good friend Heathers birthday. Our good friends (you know who you are) threw us a semi-surprise party. They invited us over for dinner then after dinner they sent us on a video scavenger hunt around our little area. So it was the Wells/Carter team against the Harris(which is Heathers last name)/ Larsen team. We felt like we were 15 again running around making a fools out of ourselves in front of complete strangers (gave us a little taste of the amazing race as well). Yeah everyone needs to act like a kid every once in a while. It was a lot of fun even though we came in last place and did not win the big prize. Anyway we came back to our friends house where we started and a bunch of our friends had surprised us for a big birthday celebration.
We had some very yummy red velvet cupcakes (thanks stef) and sat around and watched our videos we made, laughing at the childish things we did. It was a great night just spending time with great friends. Thanks everyone for making my b-day so special.
Today the 6th started out sleeping in, thanks Coop, he didn't wake up until 9:00 am. What a great birthday gift! Nate started it out making me breakfast, which were S shaped pancakes. My mom would always do this growing up, so Nate thought it was only appropriate. Then this evening just the three of us went to Joe's Crab Shack for dinner and had some yummy crab legs. Ummm. my favorite!! After that all three of us were tired and just came back home for a quite evening. Thanks Nate for taking time to be with me instead of studying (since finals are next week) it means sooooo much!
All in all it has been a great couple of days. I am looking forward to celebrating more next week when Nate turns the big 28! I wish I had some pictures but I forgot my camera both nights. Oh and I enjoyed talking to all my family thanks for the calls it means a lot I love you guys!
