Our day was pretty low key, with some fun slip'n sliding in the back yard.

as soon as dad got home we went swimming
This is Hanks idea of a good time at the pool, he loves to try and see how many rocks he can throw into the pool before he gets caught.
This kid LOVES cars right now, it only made sense to make a cars cake.
After swimming we came back home for the celebration

and last opening presents, we had such a great day. Thanks for being born Hank (as my seminary teacher would always say).
This kid is such a happy boy
he follows Cooper around everywhere, playing and copying the sounds he makes
as sweet as he is, he does have a set of lungs and knows how to use them
still not saying much for words, I am hoping that will pick up soon
he is in a big boy bed and has been for 1 1/2 months
loves toothbrushes, sleeps with them most nights
always wants to help, dishes, dinner, and even cleaning up his toys
constantly has a bump or bruise on his head, or currently a fat lip, this kids is constantly climbing and falling off of things.
