This Christmas Eve was a little different than the past, Nate was on call and had to work from 6 am to 6 the next morning. So instead of spending it alone we came to the hospital and spent it with him. That afternoon we met him at the cafeteria and had lunch with Dad. Then that evening we brought dinner and entertainment to the hospital and all enjoyed Christmas eve together.
Eating some yummy Cheddar Chowder in the conference room, it was a special occasion, Dad providing chocolate milk and soda.
After Dinner, we set up the projector and watched the Polar Express.
After the Movie we let them open their Christmas Jammies
Seriously I don't think I will ever get a good smile from both of them.
After jammies, we enjoyed some egg nog and reading the Christmas story and Nates family favorite the Selfish Giant.
Then off to bed for the kids and back to work for Nate. Thankfully he was able to get a full nights sleep with out interruption.
