Nashville

A couple weeks ago, Nate had a conference in Nashville where they put him up in a really nice hotel down town and paid for him to attend the meetings. Since we weren't doing anything that weekend we decided to join him and take advantage of the free amenities.
the day we went down was the day of all the tornadoes we drove through a huge rain storm and some crazy hail. Unfortunantly I was too slow at taking the picture, but every car had pulled over so we were the only ones driving at this time. Call us crazy, but it was nice to have the road to our self.
We were on the 15th floor of our hotel and the boys loved looking out the window at all the cars below. I am pretty sure some people could see us at night with our lights on flashing the world, but we all got a good laugh.  Cooper even woke up early the next morning just to sit in front of the window while we all slept.
While Nate was at his meetings we went to the zoo with our friend Brittany and her son James (her husband was also at the meetings.) They had a pretty cool zoo, with a petting zoo and bird feeding.
It was a nice get away for the weekend and we got to spend some time with dad.
