August 3-10, 2013
The day after Hanks birthday I left my boys at Chantilles house and Kennedy with my mom and boarded a plane to Mexico child free for an entire week. I was so excited to meet Nate there and spend the week with him and his family, but a little hesitant to leave my kids since this is the first time both of us have ever been away from them for this long. Once I got there I wasn't worried and soaked it all up.
We did a lot of eating during the day and at night, we couldn't resist making yummy guacamole and salsa every night!
The first day and a half we enjoyed our condo, and the beach right outside, then on Monday we took a ferry over to Cozumel where most of the family went scuba diving.
I had just found out I was pregnant so there was no scuba diving for me. Pierie and I had some great bonding time, exploring the island.

After scuba diving and some Mexican food for lunch we rented scooters to explore the island with. Unfortunately mike and Karlenes scooter got a flat and cut our trip down, gratefully they weren't hurt and we still had a fun time with great memories!
