Dec. 4-7,2014
Nate had an OMFS conference the first weekend in of December in Chicago and invited me to join him, he didnt have to ask me twice! A little weekend away was just what I needed!! I was so grateful my mom could move around her schedule to come out and take care of the kids, which made it so nice!!! Mike joined Nate at the conference and so Karlene came out to hang out with us in this windy city in the middle of winter!!
After checking in to the conference this was our first stop of course!!! You can't go to Chicago without stopping at Lou Malnatis!!
We walked around this fun Christmas market and got ourselves some hot chocolate with these awesome souvenir mugs!
During the day Nate went to his conference while Karlene and I birthday shopped. After the conference we went to a movie and dinner, visited Millennial park and just relaxed in the hotel. It was just what I needed!
Nate endured boot shopping with me and we all went out for a delicious birthday dinner!
Most of all I loved being with this guy for a weekend, coming back feeling refreshed and ready to be a mom again! Thanks to my parents for making a special trip out so I could have a worry free weekend!
