Communication between a parent and a 1 1/2 year old.Well its not quite where I would like it to be, and I will note that this has to be the most frustrating part is when they really want you to understand and you both end up frustrated.
This morning wasn't the case, I was woke up rather early (5:30 am) by the little man, so instead of rolling over and ignoring him I went in his room, finding him standing up in his crib waiting for me to pick him up. The second I picked him up he jumped out of my arms, ran to the stairs and held his arms up for me to take him down the stairs. As we were walking down the stairs he kept pointing his finger toward the kitchen, once we arrived in the kitchen he jumped down went to the fridge and again pointed. I knew what he wanted as soon as we reached the kitchen, but I thought this was too cute so I let him show me exactly what he wanted. After opening the fridge he grabbed his milk and drank it till he was satisfied. Then he reached his arms out for me, as I picked him up he laid his head on my shoulder and back asleep he went until 8:45.
Don't you wish it was always that simple.

That is so adorable. Don't you just love this stage? They are just learning how to be little people. It's quite amazing. I think Jake and Cooper could be great buddies.
You have some crazy pictures of the storm. WOW. We had a lot of friends with power out too. Cool pictures. Lets hope the weather keeps warming up.:)
That's to cute! I can't believe he's already 1 and 1/2!
Adorable! Trying to communicate is VERY frustrating! I still struggle with Taylor and she's 3! :)
He is growing up so fast!
I love it! What a cute (and smart)kid you have there :)
That's a sweet story. I love writing those kind down for later reference. It does sounds weird to me that he is 1 1/2. They are all growing up way too fast!
That is so cute, what a smartie that little Coop is becoming!
That little guy must've been thirsty! What a sweetie.
SOO smart! I wish Carson would just go back to bed that quickly. I'm amazed you thought he was cute even at 5:30 in the morning! That's great!!
That is so cute and i agree i wish it was always that simple. What a cute Boy Cooper is growing up to be! He sounds like he is non-stop like Sadie is.
