Last week we were able to participate in more Derby Festivities. Thunder usually starts off the festivities then from there they have activities going on until Derby which is the first Saturday in May. So Thursday they had a "Balloon Glimmer" at water front park, its where allot of hot air balloons come and lite up when it gets dark. They don't actually fly, its mostly a preview for the balloon races which take place Friday night and Saturday morning. Anyway Cooper and I met Nate and a few friends down there and enjoyed the show. All Cooper could say was "wow" I think he was really impressed.
And of course along with the festivities there was the mini/marathon on Saturday, which Nate was the only one in our family that was able to participate in. He did the mini this year, despite the stress of school and finals week he did awesome! We were so proud of him.

I bet Cooper loved the balloons. He's looking so old! I still can't believe Nate runs after he said so many times how much he hated it awhile ago.Good job Nate!
