Happenings as of latley

{Caution} Picture overload

Shortly after we got home from Utah, Karlene, Nates mom came out to spend some time with us. We spent alot of time just hanging out around the house, playing outside and enjoying the wonderful weather. We did manage to get away a few time and distract Nate from studying from boards. One day we went up to Huber farms to get strawberry's.

Nate and Cooper feeding the ducks

Have I mentioned how much Cooper loves tractors!!
This was the scene, while Karlene and I picked berries

Ready to make some yummy Jam

Its not summer without some BBQ. Nate got his early fathers day gift (a grill), and we have been taking full advantage of it. I love summer!
The weekend before Karlene left, Nates Dad flew out to Kentucky and we made a short trip over to the Smoky mountains. We made a quick stop in Ashville, North Carolina and toured Biltmore Mansion. It is the biggest house in North America. It was amazing! Along with the house it has beautiful gardens, a farm, winery and a hotel.

Coopers favorite part: the Farm although he was a little unsure about the Horse

He really liked the baby goat and didn't hesitate petting it

After NC we headed to Gatlinburg, where we enjoyed browsing the shops, and getting some good hiking in. It rained for 2 days leading up to our hiking day, So the day we went hiking we saw beautiful waterfalls and everything was so green.

At the top of our hike, we couldn't have asked for better weather.
One of Nates life time goals is to visit all the highest points in each state, we were able to witness his first one: Clingmans Dome, Great Smoky Mountains Tennessee. (I don't think you will see pictures of Cooper and I when he reaches the top of Mt. McKinley)
One of our hikes we hiked behind a water fall, (Cooper loved it) just to say the least

On the less steep hikes we were able to let Cooper out and run around a bit, He took full advantage and loved every min. of it.

This was one of the water falls on our hike, I love the smoky mountains!

Cooper has a love for trains these days, I think he could have watched this one for hours.
We had so much fun with family, but unfortunately all good things must come to an end. Now its study time for Nate and Cooper and I back to no husband or father. Oh how we cant wait till he takes the boards we are looking forward to the first of July!!!!
