Day 5 Animal Kingdom and Down Town Disney

September 1, 10

The Animal Kingdom was Coopers favorite by far. It was right up his alley since this kid LOVES animals!

We started the day off with the Kilimanjaro Safari ride and it did not disappoint. I was so excited to take Cooper on this one, that right when we finished he wanted to go again!
After we went on a little train ride to Rafiki's place, where Cooper got to get up close and personal with all the creepy crawly animals, he was so excited when he got to pet a snake. We were able to see a few Disney Characters there like Pocahontas, Rafiki, and Jiminy Cricket yet still no pictures, except we did get one, as you can tell Hank was not too happy about that!
Amongst all the countries they had Dinosaur Land which of course Coop was in heaven! This ride was TriceraTop Spin and I think we rode it at least 7 times. They also had this really big play area for kids with ropes, slides, and fun fossils of dinosaurs.
Nate and I in front of Everest, yes this is the closest he will get to it. The adults enjoyed this ride, Expedition Everest.
We also enjoyed a few shows while we were there, a bugs life in 3D and an amazing Lion King production.

After the Animal Kingdom we headed over to downtown Disney for some dinner.
We ate at the restaurant T-Rex. Its owned by rain forest cafe, so it was quite similar except for dinosaurs all over and of course Cooper loved it!
Yes we celebrated his birthday for a third time! In the Wells family its your birthday for the whole week according to me.
T-Rex out of Lego's
After dinner we walked around and found this fun store, the Lego store it had amazing things built out of Lego's and they even had an area for kids to build what ever they wanted. We spent the rest of the night there dragging Cooper away at the end.
