Last weekend a friend of mine and her kids participated in a mud run with me. I have been wanting to do this since last year when I read about it in one of my race packets. They have them all over and I found this one about a week before the event and called up some friends to get a big group, the more the merrier right? Before the group races they put on a mud run for the kids, leading up to the race Cooper was super excited to run it, until we got to the starting line and seeing all theses bigger kids he was unsure about the whole thing.
He crawled under the obstacles and over the barriers, but when it came to the mud pit...
No one could talk him into jumping into that mess.
But in the end, he still got a little medal (dog tag) and is still proud of it.
Our team before, the "Orange Crush" I dont think the 16 year old boys were very excited about the name or the shirts, but they were good sports.

It was so much fun, although I had better space out my mud races, since I threw away everything but my shorts.
