Since the weather is cooling down a bit, I thought I better catch up on all our summer activities. I think summer might actually be over, a little bitter sweet if you ask me.

Nate's work had a summer party at a local baseball game to welcome the new residents and get to know each others families. My boys are always so excited to go to a baseball game big or small.
Every chance we get we try and explore more of Knoxville, Dad got home early one night so we hurried ate some dinner and headed out to "House Mountain" Its a fun little mountain only 10 miles away from our house with some fun trails. Unfortunantly it was getting dark so we weren't able to finish this one, but we will be back soon.
The boys love to ride their bikes, I have been trying to teach Hank how to ride the strider, but usually the ride doesn't last that long, they get too distracted by the drain and we end up seeing how many things can be thrown into it.
Knoxville has so many lakes and rivers throughout, we came upon this one, one evening and the boys thought it was a perfect place to see who could throw the most rocks into it. I thought it was so pretty all the green and the reflection of the water, as you can see with this last picture we had to cut our rock throwing party short this storm hit us just as we were leaving the park.
Harvest Park
We found this fun little park the first week we moved in and we have been back several times. Its so nice that its only 5 minutes from our house. Its attached to a play ground, but in the summer we prefer the splash pad, especially after school starts up again.
