10.6.12
5.4 miles of rocky terrain,1685 feet elevation gain, lots of rock throwing, singing, a few falls, and a couple of tough kiddos.
Dad is on a different rotation for 5 months (anesthesia) so that means we get him on the weekends!!!
when planning this hike, we didn't really take into account that it was going to take us all day, but with 3 kids 5 and under and the hike we choose. It did, but it was well worth it. Hank hiked a total of 3 miles and Cooper hiked the entire 5.4 miles. And let me tell you we were passing some adults that were struggling. So I am so proud of him! His goal is to do an 8 mile hike with his dad soon.
Made it to the top, love the fall colors starting to turn
We had lunch and refueled before the decent
Kennedy was even a trooper, she slept for the majority of the hike.
Our little hiker! Finished!
