A view of D.C. at the Arlington house
Mt. Vernon was beautiful. This was my first time going to George Washington's home and touring the grounds. I think I could have lived there, (with A.C. of course). The sad part about being there is knowing that George Washington spent more time away from his home than living there. He was such an amazing man.

We were able to stop and see the Iwo Jima statue for a quick minute while Cooper slept in the car.
My good friend Giselle lives in Virginia and I was so excited when she was able to take some time and meet up with me even though I called her the night before. She is sooo much fun to be around and its so sad that we don't get to see each other very often. It was so fun to see you and catch up with you love ya girl!

Wow- i'm starting to miss the east coast already! Although the cafe rio I ate yesterday is helping to ease the pain! I always wanted to go to Mt. Vernon, but never made it!
What a neat trip! And I love your little George Washington! :) And by the looks of that house, I sure think I could live there myself!
All that looks so familiar. It's right in Giselle's backyard. I think she lives on the border of Alexandria, Virginia and DC. I love DC! We were there last summer. I'm glad you got to see eachother. She just fell in love with your little guy. He is so beautiful!
