Valentines Day and snow days

Cooper really wanted an R2D2 valentine box for school, so guess who came through and helped him out, nope not me, his dad of course! Coop was pretty excited to show off his box at school.

The girls and I got a little festive with the polish, and it helps that I have the ultimate girly girl who LOVES polish!

Valentines day was on a saturday this year, and I got up early to run and when I got home, Nate had made these cute pancakes! and the house was all clean! it was a great surprise and the kids loved it. I love my Valentine, he really knows the way to my heart!!

Its just not complete with out a little valentine sugar cookies

We woke up to frost and pure ice on the ground, with Ice everywhere I was sure grateful for school to be cancelled since I dont like driving on ice. It was crazy, the kids were so excited they got out their sled and slid on ice the whole day.

With snow days and ice days I think the kids had a total of 9 days of snow days. It was a constant play in the snow, hot chocolate, warm by the fire and repeat.

it was very rare, but I did catch this on one of the days.

The boys favorite!

Addy and I joined them one of the days, unfortunately we decided to join them on the coldest day. So we didn't stay long at all.

The boys had so much fun, playing in the snow with their buddies Wyatt and Max.

unfortunately Hank got sick and spent one day just like this. Poor little dude.

Cooper had begged us to help him with a football player, so of course here it is. Pretty good huh,

The snow was fun while it lasted, but we are glad it didnt stay all winter.
